Epiroc Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Facility – Workshop Refurbishment & Infrastructure Upgrade

RJ Engineering completed the refurbishment and fit-out of an existing large workshop facility at Olympic Dam to establish a dedicated Epiroc heavy vehicle maintenance facility. The project involved structural remediation and upgrades to repurpose the existing shed, along with the installation of key maintenance and support infrastructure required for heavy vehicle servicing operations.

All works were completed in accordance with BHP specifications and site standards, with RJ Engineering providing full project coordination across multiple trades and disciplines. The project successfully transformed an existing industrial workshop into a fully operational heavy vehicle maintenance facility supporting Epiroc equipment servicing at Olympic Dam.

Through structural upgrades, new infrastructure installation and coordinated trade delivery, RJ Engineering demonstrated its capability to execute complex industrial refurbishment and infrastructure projects within an operational mining environment — extending beyond pure SMP scope into full multi-trade project management.
